Grape Variety: Negroamaro

Vinification: The grapes are picked up by hand and machines during the second decade of September. The fermentation under controlled temperature lasts for 7-10 days and a brief maceration follows. The spontaneous malolactic fermentation comes at the end of the alcoholic one.Then the wine ages in stainless steel tanks and rests for 6-8 months in 50hl slavonia oak barrels, and for about 12 months in concrete tanks. Before release in markets, 6-8 months' bottling is needed.
Colour: Intense ruby red with purple reflections; deep and bright
Bouquet: Intense fruity, with elegant balsamic and spicy flavours
Taste: Firm, balanced, smooth, good body, rather long lasting
