Grape Variety: Negroamaro
Alcohol: 18% Vol
Vinification: The grapes are carefully selected and picked up from the middle till the end of September. Then drying of the grapes takes about 2 weeks, so as to obtain a higher concentration of the sugars. Maceration takes place at a controlled temperature of no higher than 25℃,with
delestage techniques and use of heat-resistant yeasts during alcoholic fermentation. Then the malolactic fermentation carries out spontaneously. Ageing is done in vitrified cement tanks for 2 months,then in oak for 10 months and finally in bottle for 4 weeks.
Colour: Deep ruby red
Bouquet: Complex and fruity, with hints of wild berry jam and cherries
Taste: Full-bodied and elegant at the same time, it shows its beautiful character in the mouth with flavors of ripe wild berries, balanced by a full and herbaceous taste in an absolutely pleasant way. You can also feel the mineral hints too, in balance with the soft tannins. The after tastes is long and persistent.
