Bertani Amarone della Valpolicella Collezione DOCG

Grape Variety: Corvina Veronese,Rondinella

Alcohol: 15.5% Vol

Vinification: Grapes are harvested only by hand since the second half of September. A selection of the best, perfectly ripe and healthy bunches is then transported to the loft-extremely airy rooms of the Winery in Grezzana and laid out in the monolayer plastic boxes for the drying. In the middle of January, the grapes are crushed and fermented slowly after a very long cold maceration. A part ages in Slavonian oak barrels and a small part in barriques for about24months. Bottling is followed by at least 6 months of maturation.

Colour: Intense red color with purlish hightlights.

Bouquet:On the nose, marked and intense aromas of very ripe cherries, sour cherries, fruits of the forest, spicy and nutty notes typical of the Valpantena.

Taste: Good follow-through of red fruits in the palate, with supple tannins to give depth.
