Grape Variety: Primitivo

 

Alcohol: 15% Vol

 

Vinification:il Madrigale is made from Primitivo grapes harvested by hand from 80 year-old vineyards planted in Puglia with "ad alberello" method. The vinification is done and with the grapes harvested in the mid-September. The maceration takes 3 weeks, while the thermo-controlled alcoholic fermentation lasts at 25℃. The wine then is aged in stainless steel for about 6 months and in bottle.

 

Colour:Deep red with purplish nuances

 

Bouquet: Intense and complex, reminds marasca cherry and other red fruits in jam; shows hints of dried fruit and cocoa in the final

 

Taste: On the palate it is warm ,sweet and harmonious, persuasive and rich, with soft fruity aromas and a silky and evolved tannic texture. The finish is very balanced and very persistent.
