Grape Variety:Negroamaro, Primitivo

 

Alcohol: 15% Vol

 

Vinification: Abatemasi is made from grapes harvested by hand from 50-year-old vineyards planted in Puglia with "ad alberello" and espalier methods. The red vinification is done and with the grapes harvested in the second half of September. The maceration takes 2 weeks. The wine then is trasferred into small French barriques (Allier) for 12 months' ageing.


Colour: Ruby red with delicate garnet nuances

 

Bouquet: Deep and complex aroma,with spicy smell of cloves and tobacco leaf together with a full fruity smell

 

Taste: Delicate freshness and softness, full bodied
