Castello di Ama Vigneto Bellavista Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG

Grape Variety: Sangiovese,Merlot,Malvasia Nera

Alcohol: 13.5% Vol

Vinification: The different grapes are picked up manually and seperately during the end of September. The vinification was induced by indigenous yeasts and separated by variety in steel tanks at controlled temperature between 30-33℃, with manual pumping over with a total stay (cuvaison) of 22 days for Sangiovese and 26 for Malvasia Nera. After racking, the wine underwent malolactic fermentation in barriques. At the end of the malolactic fermentation, the assembly of the 2 varieties took place. Subsequently the wine is passed in fine-grained oak barriques, 40% new and the rest used for a year, for about 14 months.

Colour: Intense red

Bouquet: Complex and inviting aromas of sweet cherry, leather and spice lead to a core of cherry and strawberry fruit, singed by tobacco and earthy, woodsy accents.

Taste: Juicy with a silky soft texture, complex, with long aging. And those dark fruit flavors should flesh out with more bottle aging.
